Odd Things A-Foot.......

Sometimes you just suspect that something isn't quite right....you know, that feeling that someone has moved your chair, toyed with your desk, been nosing about. So I decided to get my night vision camera set up and see what the HECK was going on in the studio after-hours.....

Yep, just what I thought....getting a leg up from the computer wipes, up the desk chair and from the desk to the book case....

....Groping Frida and enjoying it....sigh....and I think he is sleeping??? No wonder he sleeps all day! Deb, is he nocturnal???

Hanging with Mick, and mind you, I had things to pick up this morning from this little adventure. Good thing he didn't wreck my hand made Cap'n Jack card....that would have been war for sure. Get that spare parakeet cage and keep tabs on him. Hmmph!

Obviously fascinated by little-but-mighty Rawwwr!!! Now there is a pair. I think Rawwwr can hold his own.....

Oh no! I was afraid of this! Waaaaaay too high! How did he not fall off? Nope.....don't want to know.....bugs!

The night vision camera doesn't show the peacock too well, but Milo is completely enthralled with the color and feathers, and that is waaaaaaaay too high for a little bug to be standing! You're going to......

.....FALL!!!
Thank heavens for those Misfits shoe laces I never got in my Doc Martens! *Whew* I think I know how my mom felt when I would take off on adventures. Oy. Pass the nerve tonic please!

And then this is what *I* see in the morning. Nice little bug, all snug in bed, sleeping off the mischief from the night before. What a little stinker!
So, tomorrow is Sunday, and I will be at church......I wonder if I will have a house left? Evidently he hasn't found the garage door yet.
Be still my stomach.......
I think come Monday, Milo is going to be doing some chores.
Life in the country is not a party! A little bit of work around here will get him straightened out......

Anne! LOL!!! Sorry, I am choking over the Frida pic - hee hee! Oh, Milo, you are a bad bug. Behave (as Mike Myers would say). I supposed you can't put him on a leash, so I'm thinking the spare cage is just the ticket. And take him out on the JD next time you have to mow the lawn. THAT'S excitement! xox! Pam

I'm telling you Pam, I amnot sure I am going to make it through this visit. I can't keep an eye on him 24/7 and he seems to be able to sneak off without me noticing.....and POOR FRIDA! *blush*
I did not teach him THAT!
We'll see what fireball gets into next.....

Oh Teri....

*The Bug* will be visiting for a week.
I am shuddering to think of what he will be up to next. (I suppose I should remove the cans of wasp spray from the studio, just as a courtesy.)

Who knew a little bug could get into so many things during the wee hours of the night? Pretty sneaky of you to film his night activity. At least now you have an idea of what he is up to. And how typical of a mischievous one - for you to find him in the morning all snuggled up under the covers looking all innocent and sleepy..... You better keep an eye on Frida - Milo looked more than a little smitten.
Try to have a relaxing weekend. Try!

Oh Anne Sweetie...
I am so enjoying Milo's adventures. What a bug he is. I love the photos and the captions that you shared. You are quite the writer my dear. I could read all day and never grow tired.

He looks so cute up high with the one little leg hanging off, but I would say he looks weetest as a bed bug, fast asleep. The little booger.

Have a wonderful weekend sweet friend. How is the chipmunk battle coming along? Any better?

Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Audrey, I have a feeling this weekend is going to be ANYTHING but relaxing....if you know what I mean!
I know Deb did not raise him like this---I think he has had so many adventures he's gone a little wild....

Hey Sherry,

After Milo's little encounters, those chipmunks are looking better and better! I have not seen anymore, but that does not mean there AREN"T anymore.....
This whole next week will be keeping up with the little bug and making sure he is out of trouble.
Yeah.
Right.
Dream on Anne. ;)

Milo and Frida!!!! Too cute-cute! I love this concept of the night vision camera! Anne, you just delight me and make me giggle like a school girl. I must go help in the garden right now, but will be back to post a link to your most adorable Milo Adventure. He truly is making up for all those lost years in my closet! **blows kisses** Deb

Oh that Milo, I knew he wouldn't be able to resist checking out your studio. Heck, I would be doing the same thing if I were there although I'd be more likely to grope Capt. Jack....

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Well Deb,

I *had* to find out what was going on....poor Sweet Pea has enough adjustments without the nightly rucus....
And then he looks soooo sweet in the morning, all snuggled up.
I'll let him sleep today. Let him think he is getting by with it. *wink*
Boy bugs.....sigh....

Jan, if HE starts groping Cap'n Jack, I'm going to have to sit him down for a little talk.....cause that pic is MINE to grope!!! LOL!!!
I suppose it is only normal he would be fascinated by all the junk in here...
Maybe I am partly to blame...
And there is a little of *him* that remoinds me slightly of a younger *me*.....hmmmmmm....

You are so amazing!! I am loving the adventures of Milo.....groping Freida was the best....but I am wondering about how Cap'n Jack might take it.... I'm thinking one of the budgies might need to rat him out of his nighttime adventures...after all, why should he get to have all the fun? Don't let him near the paints or the heat gun....could be some serious issues there......

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

LINDA!!!

Don't even mention those things! I am wondering how much he knows about using the computer!!!
He is just, well, he is going to be busy next week with something GOOD to make up for the mischief!
Holy cow.....

Hehehee... So this bug is a little bugger?? Hahaa! I think you should make sure that he's not a bad influence to your Sweet Pea. You never know what a painting groping bug is capable of... (^_^) oxx

I loved it when he climbed up high!!

Amalia,

I have Sweet Pea safely covered, and since Mr. Night-Time is not out and about during the day, I'm sure Sweet Pea is safe.
I dread to see what he has been up to tomorrow.....
I just have this FEELING..... <:{

I am in laughter stitches...Milo reminds me of a little boy who visits me in the studio...he can not help but explore the space in every detail. It is so good to laugh at this little bugger! Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

ah Mita,

You are not the one having to clean up after the bug...wondering if there is a knot in the computer cord or if things are plugged in backwards....or if something is going to come tumbling down.
I think I'll buy body armor...

So you have a live boy like this??? Let us hope the two do not meet and share mischief ideas! LOL!!!

When did he learn to grope? He was never that perverted when he was here? Who taught him how to grope? Huh?

HAHAHAHAH!

I don't know who is the bad influence you or Milo!

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

My guess was the bad influence was that Uncle or Cousin of Ces's---Fatto Buttasso, who took him out, got him tattooed, and then hung over....
All I've seen is a sleeping BUG!!!
If it wasn't for the *night-cam*.....
I dread tomorrow......what WILL I FIND????

Hello Anne,

Re: your comment on my blog. I believe you. You will love this place where we visit twice a year in South Carolina. There is a pre-revolutionary war cemetery up there. But I personally consider cemeteries hallowed ground, so I don't want to disturb the people out there. I am superstitious. You know what I mean!

Wooo! Definitely asking for it if he messes with Captain Jack!!!
