If We Each Give A Bit.....
...think how much that would add up to! Considering the current events in the South, this is probably the only time I will be promoting one specific denomination on the blog. There are many good churches and beliefs out there, but here is where my heart lies, and let me explain UMCOR a bit.
EVERYTHING YOU GIVE GOES DIRECTLY TO THE AFFECTED AREAS.
People aren't turned away--this is relief, on the ground, where it is needed.
Our churches send apportionment's to keep the the relief corp funded, thus letting a person give and know every cent is going to what they specify.
If you click on the button in the sidebar, you will be directed to the Relief For The Southern U.S. page.
Every dollar counts and funds are critical.
If you have a link you would like to share with me for other organizations that are helping, please send it in an e-mail, and I will be glad to post it also.
In the meantime, consider helping our brothers and sisters so hard hit and in need. We all can spare a bit.
Bloggers are some of the most generous people I know and I have been blessed with your friendships and kindness repeatedly.
I thank you in advance.....
May you all be safe.
Pax....

This is so sweet of you to post.... though I am unemployed - I did send a little something to the Red Cross.... and of course, I am sending many, many prayers.

Hi Anne....I truly believe we can all make a difference ....however big or small!!! Prayers to all those families impacted by this.....
Hi Girls,
It is nice to know people are quietly doing what they can. I do believe that one person at a time can make a huge difference in our world!
Good blogging pals, you are!

I usually give to Catholic Relief although in the states its Catholic Charities. I figure if we all give to a variety of aid programs the help will get to more places and in more ways hopefully helping more people. It's great of you to post about it.
I do think it is better to have donations spread around; I think each group functions in a slightly different way, which provides more over all coverage for hard hit areas.
Was reading that a lot of people have stepped up with time, donations and help, which is good!

Thanks for the info!
