Yesterday I finished the photographs of the set of angels and today, the introduction of each and their story. I apologize for the lack of replies to comments yesterday; whopping migraine and it still is here today, so I am planning an easy day.
I had to post these before temporarily closing comments (which I will do tomorrow) as they are a small visual gift for all who read.......
I wanted to provide a close up of the last, as it is in some ways, my favorite.
I hope you enjoy these; where the ideas came from, I don't know. I can only take credit for penning them to paper......
Now, their story, in the order they appear in the top photograph:
The Light Bearer: The Light Bearer brings into the heavens the Christmas Star, carried gently but firmly through the cold, windy, dark of night---it is set firmly on high for all to see. The Light Bearer carries and places the star that announces the humble birth in the stable in Bethlehem, and tends it until it's time is passed.
The Herald: The Herald is the angel most beautiful to the eye, pleasant to behold. The Herald speaks to the shepherds in the fields, telling them of the glory to be found in Bethlehem. The beauty of The Herald calms the fears of the simple men that are out in the night, tending to their flocks and urges them to rise and begin their journey.
The Guide: The Guide is a swift angel who is richly dressed, going before the Magi as they continue their trek, following the Great Star to find the newborn King. The Guide is fast and wise, knowing the cunning in the hearts of evil men, and imparts this knowledge to the Magi, to protect the newborn Child and send them home to their own countries by varied routes. The Guide is fierce to protect the child King.
May you enjoy the season, may you enjoy the small illustrations and the thoughts that go with them.
May you, and all your friends and family have the best of blessings......
Pax.

Anne - these angels are simply stunning and, as others have said, they need to be framed. Please include your wonderful story along with the framing though, because the words add so much.
Healing thoughts will be with you and I know your angels will watch over you. Take care.
Thinking of you and hoping you are doing well. Hugs!
