A Late Good Morning!

(sorry this is late.....the body is not cooperating today.......hmmmph! can't even get a smart remark out!)

This was what I woke to yesterday morning; a golden glowing sky that lasted for a few short minutes, if that long....just enough to run out with the camera and take a slew of shots. My feet were wet and frozen from the dew-soaked grass, the chill in the air had my hands cold but the camera comes first!
It was one of those fleeting things----everything became yellow and orange and golden-warm, like an iridescent paintbrush swiped across the landscape. We had a front moving in and the clouds were progressing rapidly. I shot as quick as I could.
One stellar, beautiful moment captured in a simple silhouette.
I may post some of the other photos later in the week. Work to be done and I am not moving well.......
Keep your eyes open and record all you can. It is inspirational material for other art projects, and nice to look at when the weather has turned sour!
Have a creative day!

Pax.

How true Vanessa! And there were other shots that were even better, but this didn't need cropping! (L-A-Z-Y!) Words don't describe how it felt shooting the photos.....

Pam, It will pass---it's the weather only. I am a walking barometer; you'd think I could make some MONEY off that, eh???
LOL!

That photo is breathtaking. Thank you for sharing it with us ~ I fear I would've been so caught up in the moment, I would've missed taking the picture. :)

Love it...sunrises are amazing. Hope you're feeling better later on. Weather here is also cooling down, not like up your way, but for us, lower 80's for highs and low 60's for lows is normal this time of year...not much into snow...prefer to see that on a Christmas card and not my backyard!!! I'm such a desert rat or a desert wienie!!! LOL

Hi Di,

I had been uncovering my parakeets when the room filled with gold light; dropped the covers, ran for the camera and out the door! I was lucky---it did not last long, you know how those things go!

Hey Desert-Rat!

I think it's what you get used to....we used to almost always have snow; now it's hit and miss. Weather has changed here so much from when I was young. If the fronts would just quit coming in, it would be nice! LOL!!!

AWESOME photograph!!! I love it!! How great that you ran out and took it. Sorry you had to endure the chill to get the picture, but it was well worth it, Anne!! Not only did YOU relish the moment, but you have now passed it on for all of us to enjoy!

Hi Janet---welcome!

I wish I could have had the right camera to get a panoramic shot on that sky----it did not look real!

Hey Audrey,

What was sort of funny was I was so *into the moment* I did not realize my house shoes were soaked and fingers COLD till the sun had hidden behind the clouds. I've got to post some more of these. God's paint brush----mine can't compete!

Hi Teri,

I really *do* live in a good place as far as photos, due to the airport and just enough trees to make it interesting! Works good for rainbows----I just need to learn to use the camera better!!!
Feeling okay--took the day off. Still tired. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be back to my acerbic self! ;)

Hi Mary Helen,

Yesterday's rest and kick back helped; not as stiff this morning. Will see how the day progresses....there's always knitting! LOL!
Another Sunrise for us all to share---I wish it would be sunny today!
And yes, keep me posted about November.

Hi Jean,

Here's the kicker; I have some rubber farm boots I usually keep close to the door. It's just that I have learned with the nature of the sun at this time of year, it's run while you get the chance! Or it's GONE.
It was worth standing out there---thankfully no one came down the road to see me making a complete fool of myself.... :)
And the art class will go better. I never did really good in a class atmosphere; too much visual distraction.
