No computer, no photos, no content......

So why am I blogging? Because I miss it! (and you too, gentle readers!)
I am hoping that by tomorrow the computer problem will be solved, as in ---my computer HOME and WORKING and back at my own keyboard where the number of times I have to use the backspace key is less than the total number of keystrokes in the post......We do get accustomed to our own set ups, don't we? ;-)
I have three pieces of art to be shipped, one needing photos and blogging first. I'm losing my mind not being able to get them UP HERE and then OUT to the right people.
I guess, at the very end, I have to sort of blame DH for getting me started on this thing---I didn't think I wanted a blog and now I can't function properly without that post in the a.m. the same as not having my coffee.
Today is the dentist (just a cleaning) then tomorrow back to Warsaw to the other doc to prove the knee is mobile. I'm thinking HIGH HEELS. With very pointy toes. And bunny slippers on the way up, to drive in comfort! Yes, I guess I am Maxine, except with two parakeets and not the dog. Boy will I be a pip when I get older.....I can see it coming and there is little I can do to stop it! HA!
So anyway, I'm done whining to start out this sunny Monday morning, when I should be reveling in a nice bright day and just suck it up like a big girl. Hope you have a good week and that you have pictures and interesting things to put up........sniff, blubber.......
Now go be creative and do something wonderful!
Pax.

Oh, I feel for you. However, you will soon be up and running again. Pictures or not, it is always fun to read your Blog! Keep positive thoughts and that computer will be back in no time!

How do you post every day? That is quite an accomplishment. I would sit and stare at the screen for a few hours, and then get distracted by a pencil. LOL! Good luck at the doc, be careful in those sexy heels!

A brief update:
I bought a pair of heels this a.m. on the way to the dentist. I swear I'm wearing them tomorrow. If I do, I will have camera in hand to photograph:

A) Bunny Slippers

B) Nose-Bleed heels!!!!

I blog everyday because I always think I have something to say. Usually I don't, and that's when it is amusing!
When I do actually have something worthwhile, then it is interesting and thought provoking. Occasionally close to (but not quite) profound.
Maybe it's like wiping a chalkboard clean for the start of a school day.....I don't know. Or maybe I just blither a lot......
I'm thinking the second one is probably a lot closer to reality!
Have to go make gumbo now, and find a chicken. I mean, I want a precooked chicken for the gumbo....I'm not having any sort of ceremony in the backyard! SNARF!!!!!
See all y'all later!

Love your blog, my mum (who lives in Indy)sent me the link...as a fellow blogger, who is apparently much less talented, how did you put the background in, given that you're using Blogger? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Sarah,

I have NO HTML talent, period.
What you want to do is click on the "Cute and Cool Blogstuff" in the upper left corner. There are lots of free items on the site, and when you go there, if you find something you like, copy the code (it will be obvious, under the design) then go back to the *Layout* on your blog, click *Add A GAdget* and that will bring up options to choose from; you want "Add HTML/Javascript". Choose that and a pop up window will appear where you will paste the code you copied. Click Save. Then you decide where on your sidebar you want that, because only YOU will see it, so mine is at the bottom....not leaving an empty space. Then click Save on the Layout page and you should be set.
Soundes confusing but it's not really when you open things up and look at it all.
Heck, set up a second practise blog just to get it in there if you're uncomfortable with messing yours about.
Trust me---this requires little skill! Let me know how it goes!
