A nice surprise!

(Photo courtesy of Candie Cooper, copyright 2009)
While spending a bit of time cruising blogs I checked Candie Cooper's and guess what I find???
US!!!! (click the pic to go to the post)
It was deceptively cold the day we had the photo taken and I had been out shooting pics in the cemetery, so I have that *rosy glow* of being outside too long!
Candie did a sweet write up (okay, that was an intended pun!) about our coffee day we had pre-concrete diving and also featured two of my box canvasses. This girl is so busy I don't know how she breathes, sleeps or has time to figure out which end is up. She is also involved in local art events besides her publishing career, so hey, more coffee! ;)
Although this is a tiny view inside the Cafe Du Cirque, I think you can get a taste of the warm comfy feel that it exudes. I will be sooooo glad to hobble back in there for a Latte. Or two.
And it may be a bit sooner than I was thinking. After a very successful PT visit yesterday, I was walking much further than I thought I could and did the stairs and seriously fatigued some muscles. So I am feeling better physically and emotionally. I am ready to get back to work!

(and you're all tired of hearing me crab about it too, I'm sure)

Now go make some art!!!!

...and you're always allowed to crab about broken hips to friends!

Glad to hear you are getting back to yourself, testiness is one side of mending ourselves as we WANT IT now. Take care of you and I shall go to work now.
