Signs Of Life....

Searching for signs that Spring is here....

Camera lonesome and on the ready, I walk.
Eyes sharp to find even the smallest tidbit of green.

This change of seasons has been too long,
Too hard,
Far too many ups and downs.
Finding beauty in the most unexpected places.

Finding joy in life daily.

This winter/spring has been such a tease--one day warm and sunny-the next snowing--hope spring comes and stays!!

While we are in one of the "ups" now with weather getting warm again I feel that April has yet to surprise us as she usually does.
Love the pics!!

Anne - our daffodils are blooming, the forsythia has buds, and I do believe Spring has sprung! Which is okay by me. We could get a snowstorm or two, but it sure doesn't feel like it. :) xox!

Girls, I am of the same accord~~I can't rule out a snow storm or hard freeze.
And who would have thought that a blasted dandelion could be so inciting to the lens???
I'll know what the weather will be for sure when the wisteria and magnolia start to bloom....
Sometimes they make it, sometimes, well, it's pretty pitiful. ;-)

Nothing does the heart as much good as those first signs of Spring!

I'm almost jealous, Anne. Here, spring is marching ahead with giant steps and will be over in no times. The azaleas are almost in full bloom already... Enjoy!! Love, Silke

Debra....it is like a long awaited breath of fresh air after a claustrophobic Winter....

Silke, at some point, it will just BURST here, with everything coming out at once~~one good storm and then gone.
I am glad I have the camera to document the tiny things as they pop.
Hope you're having a beautiful day!

Beautiful yearning-for-Spring photos.. you have to admire those frail blossoms....being the "leaders" of the Floral Guard!!!!

As always, your eyes and your heart bring all this gorgeousness to us!

Robin, those Rose Live Forevers really earn their name, and they are in the succulent family to boot, so you'd think they'd freeze out!
However that intrepid Dandelion...hmmmmm....I'm wondering how many MORE shall follow! (looks good now though, just like a sunny day)

To me it seems that the weather doesn't know what it's supposed to be doing right now. Up/down and so on. Glad to see you walking around and enjoying the first signs of spring. Take care.

I agree Gloria.
Although today is a typical March day, but that doesn't mean tomorrow will be!
Just hoping my tender plants stay hidden until the cold is gone. I have so very much to do in the garden after being down all last Fall.
YIKES!!!

Beautiful photos, Anne! Being in a sub-tropical climate, we don't get to enjoy the notable differences between seasons. It's pretty much hot all year around apart from a couple of months of cold that we call winter (which is more like your Fall). We're currently in Autumn but it sounds like your spring is definitely on the way. :)

It reminds me of a quote about how only those who look for magic can find it......just being open to seeing these signs of hope and change make them more visible to you....and fill you with so much joy!

Quiet times are good for the mind....
Embracing change is good for the soul...

Big hugs,
Cameron

I love spring, despite the fact that allergies immediately rear their ugly little heads. (Well, I just had the crap scared out of me - forgot about your music and when it started I nearly flew out of my chair!!).
