I had considered no words too, but then, that would be too much of a strain... ;-)
Heading for the porch with coffee and going to enjoy the break of day. We are blessed with a cool morning, and this is when High Summer becomes both bearable and beautiful. Haze and damp followed by heat to escape from. The world a mix of shadows and sun in the early hours. All for those who are intrepid enough to wake and carry camera.
A moment of quiet meditation before the start of a hectic day.

Right now I am watching the birds ~ there are several different kinds at the feeder. It relaxes me and I am in NEED of some relaxation. Spent the past two days redoing my spaces at the consignment shop. My body is NOT happy. I intend to move in slow motion today. HA!

I hear you on the cranky-body! Been working out and yesterday I totally overdid it~~paying for it this morning!
We have had a couple of lovely mornings too good to pass up. Enjoying them as I am sure with the way this year has been...they will go POOF!

How gorgeous...should get motivated to take a nice pic like that, but then, I'd have to drive somewhere to do it...don't have the view you do.
Yea, it's cooling down here to a mild 98 and humid...around here if it's over 25%, we're dying as I am now!! Interior of the house got up to 82 yesterday and that's without turning any oven or stove on...I'm so grumpy.
DH informed he was going to Chicago next week for a visit to his daughter and grandson...HE SO OWES ME!! He said he's thinking of us taking off to New Orleans in Nov...won't believe it till he has airline tickets in hand, till then, it's blah, blah, blah!!
Well, it's a Miss Daisy day and I'm in a horrid mood...feel like hiding under a pot....cooler there, or at least the scorpion I found under one yesterday thought so, till I let him have it with my flip-flop!!

Lovely photo...early morning is my favorite...the quiet time before even the birds awake...a cup of coffee in hand on the porch. And ...yea...it's cool enough here for a couple of days to do just that.
