A Quick Hello

Okay.....here was yesterday.
Arise at the crack of dawn (and 4:30 IS way before that!) to get DH down to the big city (Indy) for out patient surgery.
Wait.
Wait.
Wait.
Wait.
Wait.
And wait some more.
At noon, we're done.
Bring Hubby home.
Go to town for meds and a few other things.
Come home and notice the house is very cool........
Furnace has died.
Call repairman.
On overtime wages.
Heated house with space heaters.
Waiting on repairman this morning to fix said furnace.
Blistering headache.
Wanna just crawl in a hole.
And sleep, sleep, sleep........

OH NUTS!!!!!

I'll catch up with you all when I can, as I am being a nursemaid and errand runner and all around busy person. The hubby is fine (I think) and will post as I can.

OH NUTS!!!!!

Sounds like a fairly typical day in this mad world, Anne. Especially the WAIT WAIT WAIT part!!
Very glad that DH is ok. Unfortunately, we all have those scarey things to deal with from time to time. It is always a big relief when it's over.
NO GOING NUTS ALLOWED and NO DEAD FISH FLYING THROUGH THE AIR!! Breath deeply ~ The "Big Guy" upstairs will help you get through!
Sending love and hugs!!!

Hey girls....

Oh my, I did not know I could be so tired and then WIDE AWAKE last night. Midnite or after I stagger to bed......
Have the furnace repairman here now, gotta get the hubster up for meds.
I need to reschedule my nervous breakdown. ;D
But boy, it's gonna be a big one when I have it! LOL!!!

Oh, Anne, you get to have ALL the fun. *pouts* lol! I am VERY happy your DH is home and on the mend. And how do furnaces time these things so well? I think they have a Union. :) Be good, no going nuts - not just yet! xoxo Pam

Because Pam, some people here never do any maintinence...thus when things go, it's a big job with a big bill.
AHEM.
And yes, Hubs is okay, but had a rough night sleeping. Hope he will do better today and hope we are not having to run space heaters again...oy.
Anne-Luck, ya know.

Good Morning Anne Sweetie...
Oh nuts. I was so afraid when I saw that little face again, there was trouble at El Milagro Studio. I am so relieved they aren't behind the nuts this morning. Raskly little chipmunks.

I will be sending a few prayers up for DH, and pray that he has a quick recovery. Don't play yourself out running around now, you are just getting to feel better yourself. Please take care.

Have a beautiful Wednesday, and SLOW down sweet friend.

Many hugs and so much love, Sherry

Sherry, this just seems to be one of those spates of one thing after another! LOL!
I've had a ton of computer clean up to do, tinkering, the house, the hubby, now the furnace, etc.
I really want a vacation and that squirrel hole is looking *pretty good*!!! hahaha!!!
Overall, things are okay~~~just a LOT of catch up.

Are you tired of me sending you useless hugs? They are squeeze hugs though laden with positive thoughts that things get better. Want me to come chase those nutty squirrels for you?

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

LOL!!!!
Today, I *am* the squirrel!
No, thank you for the hugs.... :)

It certainly sounds like you've had a squirrely kind of day!!

Glad DH is okay. maybe after some rest (and a drink) you won't need to have that nervous breakdown ;P

I hope the birdies shared that heater! I know you and how much you love them. You probably made them flannel PJ's until the furnace was fixed!

Don't know which would be worse, no a/c or no heat, and we have had both. I hope it gets fixed soon, and that your hubby is doing much better. Being a nursemaid with a hubby argh!, I don't know about yours, but mine can be a real baby! You might need that "tonic" drink for colds to help you through the night!!
Take Care,
Ulrike

Darn! It never rains and then it pours. Wishing hubby well and be sure that in the midst of all the activity and worry that you take a little breather for yourself. Been there recently myself - bigtime.

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hey girls,

Everything is on the mend; Hubby sitting at computer (obviously better!) Repairman doing his thing (YAY!)
Anne getting dishes caught up (double YAY!)
And yes, it never rains but what it pours....hahaha! I am so accustomed to this, it's just, well, normal?
Off to get some more work done--thanks for stopping by!

I always try to see the positive side of things. I'd be happy the furnace didn't wait until the first big snow storm to go kaput. Glad Gary is up and sitting at his keyboard, that must be a good sign. Maybe you can at least have a warm and peaceful night tonight, a well deserved one! You take care my friend, watch where you put your feet!

Hey Jan,

Everything is in order so I am relieved!
Dh is doing well and the birds are, well, their usual selves....what can I say? ;)

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hi Diana and Silke,

Things are s-l-o-w-l-y getting back to abnormal. Had a good repair tech; now have HEAT! YAY!
Just got done with cleansing and dressing the incision (do I get my M.A. status for all the wounds, etc I have packed, cleaned, fixed, Dx'ed???) and it looks very good.
Now Anne is going to fix a big cup of hot tea and just sit in a gigantic LUMP, and hope to pass out! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
We're okay, and life is good!
