Looking Up....

....with no words necessary...........

......extraordinary color, fiery clouds aglow.......

......far off, the distant crescent moon gazes and approves......

Stunning images, Anne!

Must be all that cold weather you get there to make such beautiful sky images!

We have had quite a few changes from warm to cold, and each time there seems to be amazing clouds and a beautiful sunset.
Sometimes trying to catch the colors is hard; they are so fleeting---everything changes as you turn and try and frame up the shot!
But I have enjoyed them all..... :)

WHOOOOAAAA!!! A GIFT FOR ANN from the heavens!!!! Sorry, but I have to sing:

If I should suddenly start to sing
Or stand on my head or anything
Don't think that I've lost my senses
It's just that my happiness finally commences

The long long ages of dull despair
Are turning into thin air
And it seems that suddenly I've
Become the happiest girl alive

Things are looking up
I've been looking the landscape over
And it's covered with 4 leaf clover
Oh things are looking up
Since love looked up at me

Bitter was my cup
But no more will I be the mourner
For I've certainly turned the corner
Oh things are looking up
Since love looked up at me

See the sunbeams
Every one beams
Just because of you
Love's in session
And my depression
Is unmistakably through

Things are looking up
It's a great little world we live in
Oh I'm happy as a pup
Since love looked up at me

See the sunbeams
Every one beams
Just because of you
Love's in session
And my depression
Is unmistakably through

Things are looking up
It's a great little world we live in
Oh I'm happy as a pup
Since love looked up at me

I am always stunned at your gorgeous sunset/sunrise photos. Thanks for sharing. And thanks to Ces for her poetry this morning. I don't recognize the words but am guessing they are song lyrics. Sweet.

Just grey skies here this morning, I can gaze at your photos and imagine that I am seeing them out my window. Love that peek at the moon in the first one.

G O R G E O U S !!!
I believe we were looking at the sky at about the same time! (:
And to think there are those who don't appreciate this beauty given to us by God.

THANK YOU ALL!!!!

I just got home from church a bit ago and finally getting to the computer; your words are as sweet to me as the moment of shooting the clouds!
Those are sunset clouds, as a front was moving in, so it was a sky awhirl with colors and shapes. None the same, all in flux.

Thank you, thank you~~what a nice bunch of people to come home to!

Wooooooo! So pretty! I love those colors together. Nicely captured. :) I would have been here yesterday but Firefox and Safari are having a contest as to which one can make my hair fall out the quickest. :) Have a lovely day, my friend - xox Pam

The splendour God creates never ceases to amaze and delight! How I wish I lived somewhere that wasn't surrounded by houses and hydro lines. Until I do, I'm going to sit here and enjoy your photos!

Well I just loved 30 minutes. You moved me to tears actually. We run all over the place doing this and that. Being torn about what to do and when to do it. Fact is, even if we had all the money in the world to be without health would be a total bummer. I am taking your words to heart today and taking care of my body and soul. So go on and git your coffee and move real slow and thoughtful like. I love you so much! You are such an encouragement to me. Tell the boys I send my love.
