Autumn Arrives Gently~~Morning Until Evening

(I am still somewhat limited in my ability to walk and wander.....all was gathered from within a  dozen or so yards of the house and studio.
Surprising....there is still a lot to see.....
and no words necessary.  Enjoy.)

Hey Ces,

I was just thinking of you!!! (And it was good too! heehee!)
Actually, it feels like we could get some rain today---hope the farmers can get crops in before the Fall rains start.

Good Morning Anne Sweetie...
Oh my gosh, I love the spider web, how exquisite it is. Think of the love and time that went into spinning that just for you. LOVE it.

That pod is interesting, and I do love that photo. I also love the leaf, starting to change and prepare for a winter rest.

Still hot here. Triple temps and no relief in site. Was 92 on the porch at 4am when I awoke. Climbing already. Will we ever see cooler temps this year?

I hope your foot is mending and you will be out and about soon. Many hugs sweetie and so much love, Sherry

Hey Sherry,

The spiderweb was swinging back and forth in the breeze----it took FOR EVER to get a shot that it could be seen. It is odd how our *eye* sees things one way and the camera doesn't.
The swirl seedpod is from a bush clematis, which has a purple bell shaped flower. They don't climb---mine sort of flops! ;D

Happy Autumn Anne! I am glad you are feeling better and can get about a little. STUNNING photos....really....they capture the changing seasons perfectly.

I saw Lo's fantastic painting of "St. Peter with the Acorn"...(wonderful name for him)... and I can imagine how he will add even more beauty to your home!

Autumnal Hugs,

♥ Robin ♥

Hi Robin,

Yes, St. Pete is very happy in his new home---looking rather *regal* I should add!
That sunrise was one of those *waddle and get the camera quick* things---everything else were shots I had time to frame and capture.
But I chase the skies... :)

Another series of lovely shots!
I'm glad you were able to hobble about to capture these ;)

I love the rose hip. Something so small and simple yet stunning.

I took some photos of one of resident spiders a couple of weeks ago. I need to post them soon. Of course every day I walked past her I referred to her as Charlotte. How original of me!

have a good one Anne. Off to clean for unexpected guests!

Hey Lolo,

Charlotte is a good name! ;) Loved that book......
I have the dangdest time shooting webs with my camera; the auto-focus only occasionally *sees* them. This is when I am wishing for a manual focus. Amazing things, they are.
I would say have fun cleaning but I don't want a mop propelled at me like a javelin! LOL!!!

Glorious!!! What a way to welcome the day. Now you stay out of harms way, which in your case could be stairs, holes, or small objects to trip on. **kisskiss** Deb

LOL!!!

Or thread on the floor, or a dust bunny, or, or, or,.....hee hee!!!
Life at Anne's! ;D
But Deb, I haven't lost my sense of humor.

Gorgeosity! What a beautiful display of nature at your doorstep, and fantastic photos! Oh my, look at those skies. And such a fat little rose hip. But I think my favorite has to be that glistening spiderweb. Amazing, no?

Tik Tok! YES! Oh yes! I didn't think of him before, but yes, I DO remember him. I loved reading the whole series.

xoxo

Hey Bella,

I was wondering if I was the only one who had read past "The Wizard of Oz"....gladly, not!
I love spiderwebs; they are so hard to capture but once in a while....I am lucky! ;)
And that is my LONE rosehip! LOL!

Nice pics -- that's what I did this morning too. My sky did not cooperate as well as yours.

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hey Karen,

I had to get out there REALLY FAST. I think I was able to burn off four shots and was lucky with the second.
I need a sticker that says "Kamakazi Camera: MOVE! I'm Shooting!" ;D

Thanks Girls!

I am off to put the *flock* to nite-nite now....hopefully there will be 3 cooperative birds.
But they are kind of like kids. ;)
Have a beautiful photo to post hopefully tomorrow, from this evenings short yard ramble.

Goooooorgeous!! Those photos truly feel like fall. I can see it here, too, just not feel it yet. Still so warm and humid... But maybe next week. There's hope!! Love, Silke
