Oh Boy.........

What can I say??? He must get up at night and have a ball on this thing! Not picky either....cocoa, whipped cream, porcelain cup and a silver spoon. Can I manage that......

In the meantime, while I have a few minutes of use of MY computer, I was presented an award by Leslie over at Leslie's New Works And Thoughts
Despite what others might think, I am a Versatile Blogger!!! (thank you Leslie and I'm sorry it has taken this long to post, but you can see what I am up against.....)

Now I am supposed to list seven things about myself.....ay-yi-yi.....I could end up in jail!

1. I did NOT wreck the beer truck eventhough Deb tried producing evidence that I did!

2. I now have a third parakeet, handicapped (only one leg) and it is a beautiful bird! I had to install special platforms for it to use the whole cage.

3. I am beginning to really enjoy blogging again. It was a wierd summer and I almost stopped.

4. I hate people who try to *act* honest and are anything but.

5. It is the small rare moments in life that are the most enjoyable, and I don't wait for the *big events*.

6. I am completely content with where I am artistically, but continue to learn. No, that's not a contradiction.

7. After a year of being down with the two hip surgeries, I had time to look *IN* and found more of the Holy Spirit looking *OUT*. Which was a surprise and very nice!

And now, as I am a dreadful rule breaker, I offer this award to anyone who wishes to take it. If you fit the bill of being versatile then please do what I did; acknowledge where it came from, list seven things about yourself, and pass the joy along!
Okay, I have to check the studio for bugs....or more precisely...A BUG.

Pax....

No way you can go on a vacation! You are going to be very very very busy with Milo for a while. Then when Milo leaves.....you are going to do the "exhaustion drop" for about a week or so - no energy or desire for a vacation - just REST and RECOUPERATION.
Congratulations on your "Versatile Award"!! You are definitely versatile! Love your list, Anne!
Oh, make sure Milo stays away from the birds!!
And give him a plastic spoon!

Hey Audrey,

Great advice on the plastic spoon...I am thinking the other could get him into a lot of trouble, like digging though my house plants....
I'm pretty sure I need the nerve tonic NOW!
I still think I should see what he is up to at night, and if he gets around Joey and Johnny, well, they may be little but they are MIGHTY! (especially Johnny's beak, as my thumb can attest...)

Anne....tired already! LOL!!!

Did you spike his coco? That might serve to keep him snoozing so you can get some work done.
Hey, I like that new key board, how's that working for you?

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

GOOD IDEA JAN!!!!
I had not thought about spiking *his*.....just my own.
I love the new keyboard though it takes a little adjustment. My hands feel so much better, even when I type for quite a while. Got it thru B&H electronics (I think that's right) on-line---a total of around $38 w/shipping.
It is a lifesaver for me!
Now to sedate the bug, or the bug-keeper! LOL!!! :D

I love your list! No. 4:

4. I hate people who try to *act* honest and are anything but.

Me too!!!

I know someone who pretends to be honest and thinks that she is not seen. Hah! Well, I don't have to do anything. She ends up exposing herself!!! Sooner or later the good and honest people realize what she is and I don't have to do a thing, they dump her!!! Ce la vie!

As for the beer truck - I saw the evidence and your profile...

Are you calling Deb a liar??? OMG!!!

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

LOL!! CES!
Me---call Deb a LIAR???
I think there was a little bit of CREATIVITY at work there....heehee!!! ;D
Besides, if I was doing that I would have been blunt. You know me---no messing around, just spit it out!
As to the list, I was sort of surprised about what bubbled up to the top and was written. I think it is pretty accurate...

Congratulations on your award and your newest budgie/parakeet, Anne. I had a budgie many years ago when the kids were small and he lost his leg due to an unfortunate incident. He lived for some years after that and managed very well despite his handicap. :)

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hi Serena,

That is good info on the little budgie. Mine is settling in fine, quite inquisitive and for the third day being here seems to have learned where everything is in his adapted home. I may have to put a pic of him on here.... :)
