Your father walked on land and carried his gun so I can walk on the same land later without carrying a gun?

That is what you call PEACE. People fight for peace, they die for peace, they sacrifice for peace. Why we have a country is not because of some munich by certain world powers or organizations. People died for my birth country. They took up arms as soldiers, not as terrorists. Certain countries who use terrorism as a means of achieving autonomy will never find peace.

A word a day:

Munich

PRONUNCIATION:
(MYOO-nik)

MEANING:
noun: A shortsighted or dishonorable appeasement.

ETYMOLOGY:
After Munich, Germany, the site of a pact signed by Great Britain, France, Italy, and Germany on Sep 29, 1938 that permitted annexation of Czechoslovakia's Sudetenland by Nazi Germany. WWII began a year later; Sudetenland was restored to Czechoslovakia after the war.

NOTES:
The name Munich is an exonym (a name used by outsiders). The local name (endonym) for Munich is München, derived from Mönch (monk) as the city was founded by Benedictine monks in 1158.

Well hello Emily!

For a moment I thought it was KJ, but the carrots and jellybeans let me know it is YOU! (how is your garden doing, BTW???)
Is this hare your cousin? It was a nice hare; not snooty at all. Posed for quite a while, then strolled off.
It seemed V-HAREY happy to pose for me! :)
Now I must go deal with HAIR detail, so I am all blonde tomorrow.

Sincerely yours Emily,
Anne
