Quick Blip...Early Morning

(I thought about an old pharaceutical label for dark humor on my pending day,
but decided to give you a bit of sunrise instead.....LOL!!)

Got *the call* from the surgeons nurse yesterday and I will be spending far too much of the day at the hospital today; labs, Cx, etc before seeing the Dr. next Tuesday. So my *plans* yesterday were shot after about an hour and a half between pre-op info and then trying to talk with a human being at the insurance company.
Then it hit me, I had not renewed my drivers liscense, needed to get the handicap hangtag for the car and go to the bank and fill the car with gas----there went my peaceful Art Day.
I got further work done though when I got in; the two collaged papers are on 12"x12" backs and if I am not going off the deep end, I will work them further when I get home today.
I managed to eek out one little ATC last evening---I was just to worn out from all the running and work to do anymore, plus I was experimenting on black cardstock, so it was a longer process, though I was happy with the outcome and will definitely do more on black.
For now, I am out of here quickly with the promise of art photos, probably tomorrow.
I just desperately need my coffee to get mobile in a rather quick fashion.....as opposed to slowly and gently easing into the day.......
Have a good one, whatever you do. Hopefully it will not involve trying to talk with insurance companies...... ;-)

Pax.

Hey Lady, sounds like you need a break and the hospital isn't the place for one!!! Keep creating and can't wait to see pics of your new work.

More snow last night, but the sun is out and melting it all away...mwahahahahaha!!! My son just put a snowball down my back, "of course you understand this means war!" Make sure you use your Daffy Duck voice when you say that!!

Love ya,
G

Hey girls....I'm finally home...ready for the couch now!!! LOL!!! I hate days like these.....run, run, run.
Yes, I just *had* to get a surgery in before the end of the year. We may be eating peanut butter sandwiches for Christmas Dinner....
I'm off to put away the mess of junk that came home with me, after I was radiated and drained of bodily fluids...oh yeah, and two swabs stuck all the way up my nose! WHOOPEE!!!!
Don't you wish you had MY day????

LOL!
Off to the couch. Will try and post pics tomorrow.

XXOO!!
