Quick PEEP!!!!

Bear with me....I am in the throes of actual sewing and WORK! Yesterday was productive, today will be too and it seems like finally I am making headway on this project.
I will be back when I have a spare moment but if I don't strike while the iron is hot, well, you know how that goes. And my iron goes cold quick!
I envy folks with an attention span longer than a piss-ant........
You can guess which I have.   >:-\
Okay, time to make the banners, time to make the banners, time to make the banners......AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!  LOL!

Pax.

P.S. Feeling well. Amazing when you take your meds like you're supposed to! SNARF!!!

After I turned 50, it began to dawn on me that I had better take advantage of incredible bursts of energy when they came my way. Sounds like you're having one, so go to it! And hope you have fun at the same time.

Gayle---you hit the nail on the head!!!
They're like bubbles....they float by, look beautiful for too shirt a time and then BURST and leave the drippings.....
It's a drippy day here, though I am going full steam ahead, however little steam I have! HA!

Morning Anne!!
Today is my day to get a Mammogram. I hate it... The hospital is about 1 1/2 block away but it is raining heavy. I am gonna' drive.
Glad you like the MM quote on my sidebar. I have always admired MM for her tenacity. She was far more than a sex-object. Too bad she got swallowed up by Hollywood.....
Have a great day!

all the best for a good working day, Anne! I'm off to my class in a few...its rainy and dreary, but that will change as soon as i get in the class door! lol!

Hey Marilyn.....have a safe trip. That reminded me that I have not gotten mine scheduled with all the other Dr. trips, and I need to do that.
Yes, Marilyn was a woman swallowed by Hollywoon and, I think, bad therapists. I saw adocumentary about her last therapist and it was frightening how many boundaries he crossed that were unethical.
Whenever I watch "The Misfits" it makes my heart ache because there are only flashes of her brilliance....but mostly a feeling of lost.
Be safe!

Hey Gypsy,

The stuff you're doing in class is amazing! I love seeing the posts about it!
We are fogged in this a.m. so it's going to be a while before I can get into town; the grocery thing....nothing exciting like ART!!!!
Have fun!!!!!

May every thread work exactly the way you want it to! May you not lose any beads (or marbles) as you work today! Pics of the progress.....

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Oh Linda....

The marbles are LONG GONE....... ;)
Will do pics when there is something to see---with all the white, it's sort of hard to get a photo that shows you've DONE anything!!!
Maybe I'll shoot the candles, since I added beads to the light halos.....

I used to get a burst of energy in the spring when the flowers first arrived - it was my "painting frenzy" and I used to stay up 24 hours painting .... can't do that now ... I am happy to keep the creatively at a constant drip (ha).
Glad you are feeling better (meds do help - silly woman)!

Hey Di,

To quote the Grinch, "Max, our work here is done!"
If you laughed and scared the dog, then I have done well! LOL!!!
Ya gotta laugh......it keeps us all going.... :)

Hey Teri,

Yes, I used to be able to do the 24 hr, take a 2 hr. nap and then off again.
Then I got OLD! CRAP! Now it's sort of the other way....2 hours of work, and as much sleep as I can get, or the couch and knitting!
I am a slug!!!
Yes, the *drip* method is good. ;)

Audrey, I have not been sane for years. If I was, the blog would not be entertaining at all.
Therefore, I accept being nuts and entertaining people, and occasionally getting some art or sewing to post! HA!
Otherwise you might just get my grocery list, or the details of dishsoap, toilet paper, etc....
Now really, which do you prefer?

Oh Anne, you make me laugh! My attention span is all over the place. My learning style is most definitely abstract/random. Hubby gets frightened when I come home with a new magazine that proclaims "360 Christmas Ideas"...like I need more ideas!

Hey Deborah,

At least there is company for my hopping-flea brain!!!
All I have done is computer work, a few design descisions, run errands, and the most important thing, post Tristans blog give away.
And damn.
I have to cook this evening.
Well my work day is shot!!! LOL!!!
I love those Zen moments when I am in the zone and everything is going good.....I get them once or twice a year.... ;)

I concur on the meds. comment...I hate the feeling when I forget and that's not too often!! Just got back from the ophthalmologist's office...blinded in one eye...arrrgggg...but my site is intact with a slight adjustment to my lenses...yea, I'll be able to read without squinting!!! My sweet man took me for breakfast...had "huevos montados with green chile," delicous...and now I feel like a blind, bloated bloda!!! Onward to visit the sister in town for a few days. Have great one, ma buddy!!

Love,
G
