A quick update

Hi all,

Everything went good with my *Adventures In Various Radiologies* yesterday; I got into the spirit of things and wore my black t-shirt with the glow in the dark skeleton chest on it! I just found some great irony/humor at having to visit two areas that see inside the body in a shirt showing what was there! I know, I am one sick puppy, and quite happy!
It was a cool, rainy, windy day here, and that went straight through to my bones. (mine....not the ones on the shirt) By the time I was done from my second run into Peru I was dead for the day and after soup and ciabatta bread for dinner, I was on the couch and in bed reading by a little after nine. Mad because I wanted to knit and completely wiped out---too tired to do so.
I apologize for your blogs I have not kept up on to comment; I will as I can. Don't take offense. I am hoping to have some extra rest this weekend along with work in the studio......and hoping maybe DH will buy take out so I don't have to cook! I can always dream, can't I? ;-)
Anyway, I'll keep you posted as to what is happening.
Oh, a self-deprecating bit of humor.
You know you are overly tired when you are putting on the scrubs for the CT and discover you've been wearing your underwear inside out all day, and are too lazy to do anything about it.......Probably way more info than you need, but I just thought "Geesh! Do I now need someone to DRESS me in the morning before I leave???" (don't answer that....)
Have a productive day and hopefully you will be having beautiful Fall weather. I have my black leather jacket on the ready.....it will be Leather Weather soon! YEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!
I bid you,

Pax.

Rest up, my sweet - hope you get some studio time today. I am very excited that the weather is getting cooler. For me, that means jeans and sweatshirts. :) xoxox

Hey girls----LOL!!! I can't even dress myself...still sitting in P.J.s and have been discussing philosophy and the way people *think* with DH, so I know I'm not brain dead---just obviously could care less when putting my clothes on in a hurry! SNARF!!!!
No, none of us are OLD.
We are TIRED.
And I am sooooo ready for my black leather motorcycle jacket that saw me through many a Punk concert. It's like being wrapped in great memories. :)
I ought to post my *fat* jeans I made when having to take antidepressants and outgrew everything. They are really ART.....

I had a make a trip to the ER to see my mother, who was visiting and had to go in for "gas pains." I walked in the door and said, "Well, I hope you had clean underwear on." The nurse started laughing hysterically - my mother was not amused....payback for "What happens if you're in an accident?"

Linda--
Let me preface this...not laughing at your mom's trip.....BUT:
ROFLMAO!!!!
I heard that so many times and one day I looked at my mother and said,"All they're going to do is cut the things off, so why not wear the old worn out pair, and furthermore, WHO CARES???"
Mom was not amused.....I thought it was just a small town thing.
Edivently not!

XXOO!!!!
Anne.....snickering!!!

Marilyn,

LOL! No, I was semi-conscious enough to have them UNDER the jeans.....which was a good thing! Though with all these kids wearing their drawers so low that their butts stick out, I am not sure anyone would have noticed.... ;)
Sewing on the banners! YAY!!!

XXOO!!

But you still manage to make it funny! Take care of you.

I learned a long time ago Leslie that with the things that happened to me, I damn well better have a good sense of humor!
Now, for the most part, it's just fun to laugh about what I manage to screw up with others!
Spent the afternoon sleeping----DH tired too. I swear, I don't think that bug is completely out of my system yet......
After pizza, knitting is the order of the evening. :)

Aw! poor Anne - get rid of the bra and let it all hang!

Where can I get a t-shirt like that?

They shoould come in different systems pattern like the GI tract, the lungs, heart, etc.

Don't cook. Order something and relax. Take it easy. We want you here!

Hi Ces,

I have one long sleeve Tee that had the full front and back and arms with the bones. I used to torment my Dr. and tell him until he had properly identified all the bones, he couldn't examine me! (of course he knew them all....)
The punk band the Misfits puts out the long sleve bones tee and I'm with you, I think it would be great to have the gi tract, liver, etc...
Used to have a site that had medical gifts with quirky stuff--can't remember what it was.

XXOO!!!
