Yes, I'm doing it. And I did most of yesterday afternoon too. Rest time. Sock knitting time. Soaking in a big warm bubble bath until I nodded off. A good movie and chocolate ice cream.You know, it's not that hard to do..........of course I'll pay for all this on Monday, but it's not Monday yet, is it??? ;-)

I used to love to go to the local orchards (used to be a lot more) and when you walked in that smell of the mix of apple varieties was just pure heaven. Overwhelming. :)
Have a Dr. appt tomorrow that I am scared stiff of, so trying to pamper myself a bit before then....hip again.
I gues I'll have to mark *Can-Can Dancer* off my to-do list.......LOL!!!

The ice cream was the cheapest they had, and it was DELISH!!! Deep chocolate and not too sweet, just the way I like it. A BIG bowl; I don't care about my waistline that is taking off for parts unknown. That's what girdles are for, and I admit, I own them! So I can eat what I want!

Tristan...I think I could really get into being a SLUG!!! Seems I have gone nonstop for so long that even when I'm sitting, I fel guilty.

hmmm, "guilty" is the optimum word here..geeze! as much as i love my playtime work..i catch myself feeling guilty when i want to just sit and watch a movie!...
let alone choc ice cream and a bubble bath..lol! and i have no police here... haha..

I think it is the world in which we live; we are to work ourselves to death and then let the gov. take a goodly chunk in taxes! (okay, I say that in jest.....sort of)
It is hard to relax because everything tells us go-go-GO!!!
I just got done watching a streamed church service, and it was the most wonderful *downtime*.
And no guilt!
And there was no guilt with the ice cream either... ;) I pick my *guilts*!!!! LOL!!!!

Jan, I haven't canned beans in so long I think I probably would blow up the pressure canner! I used to do it so much, I did it by rote....and you definitely deserve chocolate. LOTS!
Am bleaching the head now, a day-off activity I had scheduled. Want to look stunning, not stunned....

Days off can be good; we all need time to rejuvenate now and again. Ces, am jealous you are painting today, but so happy for you. I have no ice cream, either, but am doubly happy to have some time to work in my studio today. Good thing we all have days off on different days!
