......on a humid Indiana morning; the sun a fiery glowing disc and everything else in neutral, fog shrouded color. The photo doesn't quite capture the languid and heavy air, the smell of damp in the shrubs and grass, the feeling of a slowly paced day ahead.
Take time to enjoy what is around you and allow slow to happen for a change.
As always, I bid you.....
Pax.

Hi Anne! I think we're gonna have us one of those days, too. Hot and humid...which is always a very good reason to hole up in my little nook and make stuff. Here's hoping the a/c holds!! :) xo Pam
We had to have ours replaced a couple of years ago (or last year??? I don't know---DH waited till the last minute....) and of course it was 90 and the humidity was about equal.
I love my basement studio because it is always cool, A/C or no, and usually I am all alone with my *junk*!!!
How good is that???? ;)
Hope your A/C hangs in there for you!
What a beautiful, peaceful photo!
Lovely peaceful photo. I'd have guess it was dusk. We have just had clouds the past 3 days but it is a nice relief from the heat. The roses are starting their second flush of bloom.
It was funny because this was taken as Gary was leaving for work; I was waddling out in P.J.s with camera in hand.
The color is not right, but it's close. We have a lot of mornings like this but usually I miss *getting the shot*.
I was lucky on this one!
I'm in Terre Haute and it's already 86... can you imagine... my gosh... and it's extremely humid. Not likeing it so much. Thank goodness for central air that's all i can say.
Have a wonderful day.
Tammy
Tammy,
I'm up by Peru (a bit north) and made the mistake of going out for pizza....
NINETY TWO DEGREES!!!! Plus humidity and wind. I know we're going to get blasted before the day's out.
I was soooooo glad to get back home and in where it's cool!
Have a good *inside* day!
I left a comment about an hour ago - it disappeared. How strange.

Beautiful photo, Anne.
I have a note on my desk in large letters that screams SLOW DOWN at me every morning. I am feeling myself going super fast from morning till night every day. It is hard to change that habit but my bod is telling me I need to.
Have wondrous afternoon.
Huh....wonder of Blogger is having *issues* today? (obviously!)
Every day I try to slow down and enjoy the day; every day I seem to speed up and don't seem to get a bit more done.
But I keep reminding myself....if I type it long enough, then hopefully it will work! :)
You find the beauty around you and share it with us ... thank you. After a couple of hours at the nursing home, I floating in the pool with friends and then had a quiet meal with hubby.
