HAPPY MARDI GRAS!!!

ALL ON A MARDI GRAS DAY!!!
Wishing you a good day with celebration, beads and fun!
And may you find someplace to get your fill of
KING CAKE!!!
(which I made yesterday, and have already stuffed myself with....)
Tomorrow we return to the regular format....
Art, art, art.

A quick P.S. on this: I made two King Cakes yesterday---a small one for DH and I and a large one for Cafe Du Cirque, which I surprised Chris with this morning, along with 4 dozen strands of Mardi Gras beads.
A little goodwill and *Lagniappe* for the customers!
Another P.S.
It seems there is trouble leaving comments. I just managed to leave one after hitting the button twice, though for the past couple of days, on different blogs, I've had to hit the post button several times. I don't know if these are Blogger issues or at my end. Please if you can't POST, e-mail me and I will see what debugging I can do.......

did you win all those beads?

Why, YES! I told everyone I would undress and they literally THREW POUNDS of beads my way.....
We did these one year for the Christmas Parade here in town. I was in stillettos, a black leather mini skirt and fishnets (warm jacket though!) walking a country mile.
NEVER AGAIN.

I was one having trouble, couldn't tell what end it was coming from.

Your bead answer is the best.........

Hey, at my age, I wouldn't have to lift the shirt very far to be working for the beads.....I mean, the combination of age and gravity is frightening. My bellybutton will soon have competition.... ;)
