I hate starting the week off with a BANG, but there is a niggling issue I have had to deal with and I am putting it public. Normally, I do not do this because 99.99% of my followers are good good folk (whom I deeply appreciate and love)and if they would like an image or text, they ask or are tucking it away without any intent for reuse. No problem. In fact, I have offered some of my photos to followers because I know they are inspired by them to paint, and that makes me feel good that I can share. That is what this is all about, really.
But it appears that SOMEONE from the same Eastern US location (IP addy, same ISP service, same area repeatedly) has no ethics about downloading and completely pilfering through the contents and comments on the blog while not leaving comments----and it is also happening to a dear friend of mine and believe me; I know how to backtrace. When it happens in the 100's of times in a day, someone has issues.
Therefore, I am saying only this: GO TO A THERAPIST, GET HELP, AND STAY OUT OF OUR BLOGS. GET OVER IT!!!
I have heavy-duty software on my computer for backtracing, etc and I don't take this lightly. It is stalking. STALKING. CYBER-STALKING. A crime. Nor do I take it lightly when it happens to my friends and I do provide them access to my data. All they need to do is ask for help.
For all my dear followers that have absolutely no part in this I extend major apologies and I am sorry you have had to read this. Unfortunately, when you open a blog to the world, the evil squirmies come in too.
