Still here....somewhat.....

I am thinking the photo says it all.....

A quick rundown of my days since the last post....
Appointments, running, yard, running, phone calls, laundry--did I mention lots and lots of laundry?-- looking forward to the past Holiday weekend for rest and quality time with Hubs.
And then........
SICK.
DH sick, one of my little birds sick, *me* worried sick......no studio time (which was okay--I was needed elsewhere).
And now, ME SICK.
Everyone else is recovered nicely; I am still sneezing and wheezing my way back to my normal feisty self, and impatiently waiting for a couple of studio days. In the meantime, that little guy up there is going to get more art done than I am.
Sometimes you just have to kick back and roll with the punches.
I actually do have photos of work produced before our annual Sick-A-Thon, but have had no time for editing.
Promise I will return with more intellectual content.
Or at least mildly entertaining.
No, wait.
Nothing is more entertaining than a chimp!
Off to the couch; a chimp-free zone.
Later my friends.

Pax....

Hi there.
This year has been the pits!!!!!! I can only hope the second half will be better. As you know, I've been where you are with the sneezing, coughing, etc. I sure hope the sickies leave you quickly. Unfortunately, you have to let it run its course, but I hope it runs fast for you!!!
Trying to rest some today ~ ran my fanny off all day yesterday taking Mom on errands; couldn't sleep last night. Now WHERE IS THAT BUS HEADING TO THE NEAREST TROPICAL ISLAND????
Enjoy the couch. (:

That really is a bummer when you look forward to some nice free time and then you get a cold. They just make you feel so miserable!! Daniel had one this spring already, but luckily I didn't get it! How's the birdie? I hope all is well and that you are on the fast road (the Autobahn) to recovery!!

Love, Silke

I love the chimp taking over your studio! And great to see you here today. Rest, relax and breathe... Your studio and blog can wait. As long as you, Hubby and little bird are okay. xox

Getting sick is bad enough....but when it keeps you from being a busy creative bee buzzing with ideas and intellectual energy...it must be torture!!
I hope you feel better very soon! :)

My experience at the retreat for the chronic/terminally ill ended up with me being ill. Got sick Sat. night and had to leave at daylight for home. Got to he MD that day and had two ear infections and sinusitis. Didn't want to expose all those immune compromised folks. Hope you recover soon.

In my shameless self-promotion, I missed this one. Still sick??? Really not fair. Officer Bill (tiny female chihuahua) has allergies and every time we go for a walk she sneeze constantly. Lucky her bladder is not weak, but she will frequently fall over with a good sneeze! Really funny to see. Is Birdie Boy better? I just hate when the kids are sick! Get well NOW. That's an order. Big Love, Deb
