Flitting In.....
....For a quick Hello.
I've been sidelined with allergies, and when I haven't been walking with my head in a cloud, I've held my breath and ventured out for a few photos.
Things are blooming rapidly and then quickly disappearing~~I cannot believe the speed that we've moved to Summer, with the occasional cold night still.
I *thought* I would have the project done to post here that I had started the other day, but alas, damp weather and multiple layers of medium makes for slow drying.
Today I had to give in and let it sit.
It will be an interesting story though when I get it done, because everything....well....that's for another blog post.
Hope y'all are having warm days, soft breezes and beautiful flowers to succumb to their parfum.
(I am still having issues with Blogger not loading blogs or comment boxes~~please bear with me. I try and visit and comment, but this one has me stumped!)
Pax....

Love this photo Anne. Sorry about the allergies - yuck. We are not as warm as you it sounds. Only the jonquils have poked into bloom. Looking forward to your new project, glad your energy is movin and groovin. xox Corrine
Hey Corrine,
I went out last evening and found the lilac COVERED with the butterflies! I don't know how long they have been out~~this was the first I had really seen a mass of them.
Up to computer work (as in debugging, etc) today... :-\

There's always some issue with blogger--it will resolve itself eventually--but it sure is frustrating!! It's back to more seasonable temps here today.
Yeah Janet, I've noticed blog posts down from some of the people I closely follow and never know if they're just busy or if it's Blogger.
I'm rechecking everything in the a/v and updates to see if something on my end is causing it....
And I might actually get to ART too...LOL!!!

Dear *Blog Mistress*....how lovely to see a post from you! Your photo (as always) is magnificent)!
Here, in the West, Spring arrived back in February....then deserted us in March...and now, it is unseasonally cold...so all of Nature is thoroughly confused... sigh... still, there are moments....my neighbourhood birds are beginning to *chirp* more...and I am eagerly (and hopefully) awaiting the return of *My* Mockingbird! I listed for him every day!
Those allergies....I am a sufferer too....but the tradeoff is worth it..
Skype tomorrow?
Love,
♥ FBBBFF ♥
Hey Robin,
You know what? It's COLD here this morning after being hot and humid last evening! LOL! No wonder everything is berserk!
But the morning birds outside sing me awake, and the feathered farts INSIDE keep me up and going~~whether I want to or not. ;-)

Bumper crop this year for pollen of all sorts!! So glad I have never been bothered with allergies....
Hope you feel better soon!!
Marilyn
Hey Marilyn,
I think it is mostly because everything is in bloom all at once! Beautiful lilacs and wisteria, heavy with scent....I can smell them all over the yard.
Allergies or no, it's beautiful to see and the butterflies and bees are enjoying them!

You flit away, my dear! & yes, bald is absolutely beautiful, you looked just great ringing that bell! x
Hey Emma,
LOL! I was having too much fun.... :-)
Now I am at *peach fuzz* stage and the hair is growing. I liked BALD better!
And still flitting, this time debugging the computer and trying to finish boring out the studio...ACK!

hello anne xoxo
i wish i had allergies instead of this damn cold/cough that has returned for the second time and has me on the couch instead of planting pansies.
but all things in good time.
been thinking of you, all good thoughts, including some silly ones
♥
kj
Oh not AGAIN! That was bad enough on the first round... <:-(
Okay, I want to know what the silly thoughts are, because that's been about all I've been able to manage...LOL!
Take care my friend~~hope you are well soon.

Is that a Painted Lady butterfly? She is lovely. Can hardly believe you have full bloom lilacs and wisteria already! I should send you a photo of my lilac bush, show you how much further behind we are than you. But mine isn't usually blooming until May so it is normal. Some things are worth the discomfort, if I had to choose between breathing in the scent of my lilac or being spared allergy symptoms, I'd choose smelling the lilac. Although I admit that is easy for me to say since I don't suffer from allergies!
Yes Jan, that is a painted lady~~and the shrub was covered with them. But they flit so fast, it was hard to get a good photo!
We usually don't have lilacs till May, around Mothers Day. Everything is way ahead here, and will probably be frozen tomorrow night unless the weather changes.
And yes, I had my nose in both the lilac and wisteria....so what can I say? I love both but can't bring them in the house....

Summer is exploding here in KY, too and way to soon for my liking. Looking forward to seeing your newest.
Ah, the allergies that go along with nice weather...those must have been an invention of the devil! They're almost enough to make me start to like winter.
Well Ima, it may be having it's last gasp here tonight~~was out taking photos and it is COLD already. Three nights predicted of temps around freezing.
Hoping it doesn't kill whole plants that are up....

Allergies and pantyhose, M.A.~~they crawled right out of the rear end of the DEVIL! ;-D
Yeah, I don't like the cold as much as I used to, but at least I wasn't helping Kleenex's stock ratings sky-rocket.....

just stopped in to say Hello!! sorry for all the sneezing and allergies, yuck!
I so understand your situation...my nose is not my own. Yesterday i broke a tooth and tomorrow I will meet with an oral surgeon...getting old sucks! happy Easter dear friend! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
Weather does seem strange now, all over the world. Here in England we had a very mild winter, a little snow late on, and then Spring flirted with us only for it to turn cold and wet again. But we need the rain, there has been a drought here, and a hosepipe ban. I am worried for the butterflies which are more scarce each year and cannot survive this changing weather. I hope your allergy relents to allow you to enjoy the summer!
Mim & Mary Helen~~
I now am looking at the nose situation as somewhat of a joke...how can it possibly run that much and have me still standing??!!! LOL!
And I brought in lilacs last night....DOH!

Hi Minerva,
An up note on butterflies; we had several years where they were fewer and fewer, then this year, suddenly, we seem to have a lot again. I am hoping the trend continues through the summer. We have not received the rain we usually do so it will be interesting to see what happens in the flowerbeds. I need to find more butterfly-friendly plants too....

Hello. Tis me, in my new office over run by boxes and chaos. And to think, I have more to move into the teeny tiny townhouse! Just wanted to say hi, that I am surviving quite well, and sadly am ignoring friends. But the love never stops. Or the prayers. I carry your heart in my heart. Be strong, my little cancer warrior. **kisskiss** Deb
Freeze Warning Tonight! :(
He is Risen INDEED!!! Happy Easter, Beloved Friend. Big Love, Deb
Happy Belated Easter Blessings to you dear friend! Peace, mary Helen
Anne, Thank you for the reply, and the idea that your butterflies have suirvived a drop in numbers to come back once again has given me hope. Which is of course what Easter and Spring are all about.
Thank you once again dear lady ! xx
