Laissez Le Bon Temps Roulet!!!

It's more than beads......

...Or location, location, location...

 ...It's the long lived merchants...

 ...Amidst the total madness...

...Delicious tradition...
...Blended with lots of music and soul...

...Being smothered in sweet...
 ..."Hey, thow me sumthin', mistah"...

...Someplace to chill a bit in the activities...

...Where ever you are, be it a pirate bar or a cozy home...

Let the good times roll!!!

Happy Mardi Gras!!!

Just found out hubby's going to a memorial tonight...sigh! Oh well, I'll break out the beads and beer and maybe, just maybe, I'll make me some of those beignets. Have a great night, Anne...Party-Hardy, my dear friend.

I hope good times are rolling for you. I have a little beignet mix from Cafe Du Monde left from my NOLA trip. I just might make beignets for desert tonight. Can I do that instead of King Cake? Take care my friend, Pam

well, imagine this: pam visits new orleans next year and you take the new orleans express from chicago and one and then another and another and i and ......OMG there we are!

i'm a strong believer in visualizing so if you don't mind i am placing this event in your brilliant brain and let's see what happens!

i love that you are celebrating, anne. i've been to new orleans only once: not even three weeks after katrina hit. i was there for two weeks with the red cross and it was an experience i will never ever forget. so much would shift: it was obvious even then. change upon change and yet what remains stays the same. i know it is in your heart. you are a new orleans kind of girl.

and i'm glad you are my friend.

love
kj
