your piece is pretty awesome, anne. it was very cool to scroll down and see you in such esteemed company, and they too.

this gives me the same good feeling as the gallery off broadway: someone who heralds the value of sharing talent and creativity.

So happy you are a part of The Pulse Anne. And thank you both for getting the word out about Style File and for your very generous thoughts about my blog.

Hey Teri,

There is always something interesting on Seth's blog, plus if you follow on FB you can access reviews he has done of new shows up in NYC.
A fun place to visit for sure!

Hey Karen,

I've got to admit, it was pretty cool from this end to see my work in the middle of the others! *beam!*
And yes, it is the same vibe of getting art out there for the joy/sake/pure love of the medium.
And that's nice. :-)

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hey Seth~~

The thanks goes to you for including my work!
I always enjoy sending people to a new blog that is well worth their time, whether they make art or love it!

Great work and you seem to be in very good company!! One of these days, I'm just going to have to buy one of your pieces, however, I have your wonderful apron hanging up on my kitchen wall...get lots of compliments, but I'm just this side of admitting it's my work...dun't verry, darlink, I don't....your the star!!

Have a good Sunday and hope you have a bit of respite from the weather...our temps are lower, but my house hasn't gotten word yet...going to have our guy come and give our "swamp cooler" a mid-season tune-up...can never be too safe in this hell hole!!

Loves ya,

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Yep Jo, The Pulse totally ROCKS!
Always something interesting to see, think about, consider...etc.
And thanks on my piece!

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hey Georgina,

Lordy, I had forgotten about the apron! LOL! See, you could have gotten by with it! (and I so need to make myself a few new ones and don't have the time right now)
It's a few degrees cooler with the rain, but it will last till the clouds pass.....pfffft!
I'm going to take it easy and have a meditative Sunday. St. Jude and I. ;-)
