A Short Update

Found in an image search; cannot tell you where but kudos to who ever did this!
We did not quite get to the point of the photo above, although there were several moments I thought it might happen...I mean, six straight hours of tinkering.......well, it DID cross my mind.

Aw crap! She found me!
I was sure this little guy was appalled that his nice computer home was suddenly *de-buggified* and he was packing it down the road.
Hey, uninvited guests need to learn the ground rules.
So I am now further behind than I was....working on the paper tutorial. Realistically it could be the end of the week when I get it up. I have more photos to shoot and samples to make and Thursday I will be gone all day.
Ta-ta Mon. Bug.
Don't come back.
I don't have another day to lose to computer issues.......
Dealing with the current quirks of Blogger is enough for me.
And now, off to the art tables.

Yep I know, my son has been working on mine and I hope everything is okay. Been hearing about these little buggers all over blogland.

Bug be gone for good. Go play, it will lift up your soul my friend! Wear those spankin new hot boots... xox Corrine

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hey Peggy,

Yeah, yesterday I talked with another artist having the same problems and it helped me figure what exactly was fighting with what.
Onward and upward!

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hey marianne--

I'll be working on it JUST FOR YOU!!! :-D
I still have a few things I am stewing in the brain as far as steps in the process...I think I can make it better.

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hey Corrine,

I have on my double T-Strap Doc's today---gotta get these things broken in so I can wear them with dresses!
Now if I just don't spill PAINT on them...oh well!!! ;-)

Glad you finally got the little "bugger!!" Hate that vermin. Too bad it's not as simple as spraying it with bug spray, like I did the other night when I couldn't sleep and got up to watch some television...walked into the kitchen and there it was...a monster roach trying to hide from me...soooo disgusted that it even found it's way into our house....got my bug spray and sprayed the hell out of it...found it yesterday afternoon in my studio...talking about adding insult to injury...it knew where to lie it's filthy carcass...GD bug!!!!!!!

Have a creative day and upward and onward!!!

Loves ya,

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

You do know cockroaches will be here long after humans have left the planet....I don't think anything kills them short of a well aimed jackboot!
UGH!!! ;-P

Janet Ghio said...

What did you find???

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Janet---sent you a detailed e-mail.
There were a lot of steps. But I cannot rule out that you have a virus in there....
Wish I could help more on that end.

That photo is hysterical! LOL! Personally, I am going to go with lighter fluid and a backyard bonfire when I crack - hahaha! You are so funny. I hope you get caught up. I am so behind it is officially ridiculous. :)) Hang in there - xox Pam

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Pam, I do not know what *caught up* really is.
It's just Crisis Management around here every day. DH asks what I did and I look at him blankly, drooling.
Well, what HAVEN'T I done????
I'm diggin' the bonfire...that sounds good. >:-)

Marilyn, mine is MORE than just occasional....does that make me a bad person? ;-D
I thought it was an utter hoot, and I think all of us have been at that point.
Far too often.

Victory is mine, sayeth Anne. Rejoice!

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Wow---maybe I'm not as smart as I thought!
I just had a comment I had previously written show up here.....LOL!!!
I'm going back to setting up the new parakeet condo for my little Blue Bomber....less brain work, more muscle! ;-D

Deborah said...

Oh so happy your puter is back! A parakeet condo??? With a spa? I have to go to school now and play with my friends. **happy smiles** Deb

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Deb, it might as well have....it has the prerequisite bowl of Cheerios that have already been dumped ONCE.....omg....I should have had KIDS!!!!
Maybe *I* should have crawled in the cage and left the bird out, ya think??? ;-D

Diana Evans said...

oh man oh man!!! I hate when we get computer issues...I had a major one hit me a while ago!!!! that photo is hilarious Anne!!!! you made me giggle with it....

Hope you have a wonderful day!!!!!

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hey Diana,

You know I have to find humor in whatever happens here...even meltdowns (computer and self) and BUGS (computer and real)!!!
But I think I've had enough excitement for today....seriously.....

Magpie's Mumblings said...

Oh yikes - if one of those little bug-grrrs come to take up residence with me I'd have to call in the troops. There's no WAY I'd be able to figure it out on my own...and knowing the way those little buggers propagate....yikes!! Altogether too awful to contemplate.

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Yes, the little stinkers are decidedly prolific.....it seems there's a spate of problems going around, but I assume everyone's computers are affected a bit different.
I've had enough if him~~~Mash 'em flat!!! ;-D

"MOI" Freubel said...

Hey Ann.
Thanks for your lovely comment!!
It is so nice to read your posts again, however the theme was sad. Pc problems AARGGGGGGG

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hi Rian!

I was just over at your store looking at all the beautiful collage items and some of the wonderful quirky things you make!
Love your art, sense of color and humor!
And the computer bug is GONE! Gave him the BOOT! hahaha!
I will have to come back and shop..... :-)

audrey said...

Hi there my debugger friend. Those bugs should know better than to mess with you!! Glad you managed to handle the problem. If I run into a big bug computer problem, I will be up a creek.
It was 80 degrees here yesterday, Anne. It stormed through the night and now it's in the 50s. Spring is fighting to get here. I hope April will be kind to Indiana.

Good thing he's gone. I wonder, are bugs always He's? Probably but still, just wondering, lol. Don't think of yourself as behind, rather think of yourself as lucky you have another day to get done what you didn't today!

i like the part where you say you are off to the art tables.

of all the breakdowns possible (excluding my own self!) it is my computer and my iphone that bring fear to my heart! i am very sympathetic anne, and i commend you for not breaking neighbors' windows by throwing frozen computer keys or even worse, keyboards. :)

let there be art! here's wishing you a bright warm sun soon.

studio lolo said...

I thought maybe a tornado carried you away! I've been missing on blogs too, but not because of bugs. I've actually been doing art!!

I'm glad you evicted that sucker! Now on with some good art girlfriend. We love seeing what you're up to.
