Remembering Gypsy......

For those of us that had the privilege of reading "Gypsy Lulu Delights", we knew a warm and wonderful soul who was taken from us far too soon.
I still have the link to her blog, though no longer there; it is a reminder to me of the wonderful woman who was a ray of sunshine, par excellance.
Today would have been her birthday, and at the request of her daughter, we are letting loose a colorful balloon in her memory.
But she was not *one* balloon...she was the whole sky brimming full!!!
To you my dear friend, coloring the clouds of heaven.....you will always be remembered.

With love, and being thankful I called you *friend*.....

Pax Domini sit semper vo biscum.....

Had Jeannie been here longer, I am sure she would have had the same impact...just a void that never leaves, you know?

Thanks Gloria~~

Pam, wasn't she always FUN??? I mean, even when she wasn't well, she still was amazingly humorous. That I should have that disposition....I would be blessed!

Oh my goodness what an amazing post she would have loved all those balloons. She sure was my dear sweet wonderful friend. I miss her so much it has been a difficult day for me thankfully I was with our little quilt group and we remembered all the fun times we all had together.
She loved you too Anne.

Hey Bunny,

I can imagine it was difficult for you all today; loved you post and the real balloons being sent UP!!! (we have had rain and severe weather, so I had to improvise, but I don't think Jeannie would mind!)
Here is to having known her, and loved her, and been gifted with her friendship.
What a joy!

Christine, you would have loved her and she would have thoroughly enjoyed your bead work. Jeannie had a massive bead collection....I mean the "To keel over, fight and cry for" type!
She sent me a lovely fabric bead and charm bracelet.....it is a delight indeed!

Hi Anne,
I tried to post a note on my mamacita's birthday but guess it didn't work. I wanted to tell you how much your friendship meant to Gypsy. She spoke of you fondly and often mentioned to me what you were up to. Her blog friends all were a treasure to her and I know she's still around in spirit, loving all the wonderful things you all said about her! I can hear her now saying, uh-huh, uh-huh, now, yeah, that's right.
Dana, Gypsy's daughter

Thanks so much for stopping by Dana!
You don't know how much your words mean to me,and yes, I think your mother would have loved the cyber-birthday-party! ;-D
I can here her saying the same.....and yes, she *IS* still around for us in spirit. She is on my "Memorials" page always. That anyone who wanders there sees a wonderful lady who lived life fully and gave much joy to others.
Bless your heart Dana....♥♥♥
