Morning Gem

I see you there,
Beyond the darkened boughs~~
Your shining wink
Transports me,
Far from the
Here and Now.

I capture only fragments
Of your fracted
Glowing streams.
And yet,
Tho peering round and bout
With lustrous fluvial
Beams,

I think perhaps
The eye of God
Must be within your grasp.
My soul is warmed,
A smile begins
As morning, morning,
Start of day
Close to my heart
I clasp.

Pax....

I love the early morning when things are quiet, and if it is not too cold to be able to sit outside with my cup of tea. The poem is beautiful. Hope things are going well your way, and that your hubby is doing much better!
Take Care,

It has warmed here---the mornings feel a bit more like early summer.
I like it cool enough to wrap in a warm sweater and then run quick with the camera! LOL!
Well, maybe not run.... ;D

Hey Ima,

Yep--life is going per normal (or abnormal!) here. Planning studio time and that is good!
Hope you have a great weekend!

Lovely poem to go with the beautiful photo. Oh, btw, I noticed you had a photo of your father as your facebook avatar on Veterans Day. Nice touch.

Hey thanks Jan. I had another pic of him I wanted---could not find it on this mess of a computer! (meaning, I have photo files everywhere....)
It seemed odd with *my* name and his pic... :)
Off to bleach the hair....

And then the sun just PEEKED---and I clicked off the shots.

Hey Vanessa,

Ya think we ought to admit we know some of these songs? Do you think it *dates* us? :D
Thanks much on the poem comments....sometimes words flow.
A lot of times they are in plaster-of-paris.....

Beautiful poem and photo. I love all the fine, intertwining branches. They remind me of fine pen lines.
