Who Might THIS be???

Okay, I am such a *sucker*. Not in a bad way~~I just get things in the skull and cannot remove them.

Like Milo. I had a ball with that ornery little bug. So I foolishly did an internet search and naturally did not find the small, yellow guy.

But, I did find someone who must be his first cousin, is a little more colorful and quite a bit LARGER. (does this mean more mischief? I don’t know….)

Allow me to introduce, Melvin. I think he will fit in just fine here. JUST FINE…….

0 0 melvin edge

And  he’s photogenic too……but they both sure liked the computer area. Hmmmmmm……you think it’s cause for alarm???

Pax….

Anne - if it is possible, I think he looks like even more trouble. :) A definite cousin. Maybe you can buckle him in next to you on your adventures around town! LOL! I love his red party hat and sparkly eyes. You're in for it. xox!!

Pam, does this qualify me for total mental disability? That I search out a stuffed bug??? :D
I'm not sure....we may have to have a Melvin post now and then. He's been petty quiet and seems to be adapting well.
He really likes the printer.....
Hmmmmm....you know what happened last time. ;)

Ok - I'm head over heels in love with Melvin because, after all, he's purple and I love purple. Can't WAIT to see what mischief he gets into!!

HAHAHAhahahaha! Yes, you are nutz. Cesnutz. I am going in the attic today to get my Halloween things down and shall look for the bag of stuffed animals and hopefully find Milo's parents. Maybe that is what his homecoming post is waiting for. Wishing you a lovely Sunday, my friend. Nutz to you! **kisskiss** Deb

Is melvin a purple people-eater???

I'm quite smitten ;)

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hey M.A.

I'm hoping that he is not *quite* as mischievious as his cousin....because frankly I am not sure I can keep up the pace!
He is a rather attractive shade of grape, isn't he? ;D

AWWW! melvin is a cutie!! Hope he is better behaved than Milo (or do I?---Milo was sure fun!!)

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hey Georgina,

If you check eBay or the online auction places, you might find one. It's hit and miss due to the age of the little guys.....they aren't young! LOL!!

HAHAHAHAHA! I see a new avatar with you and your fabric art. I don't know what you have been drinking. HAHAHAHAHA! Okay, I have to step outside now. I am carrying my laptop into the carport where I will stare at a canvas on my easel.

I'm a purple person too, so love him. I am going to make me one of those as soon as I finish all the afghans and ponchos I am into. Gonna crochet me a Zhivago hat too, after watching that movie recently. LOL

Howdy, Melvin! He is the spittin' image of Milo in so many ways. I see trouble brewing, better be on your toes, Ms. Anne!

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Had to change the avatar just because! LOL!!
Yes, purple Melvin is all innocent and quiet today....
I kind of recall another bug that started out the same way.
Hmmmmmmm......
He strikes me as a bit more mature.
Oh dear--that could cause problems too!

Ha! sparkly eyed Melvin and his party hat look like SO much fun and mischief!! I can hardly wait to hear about his adventures :) glad to be making both of your acquaintances Anne! xox

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hi Karin!

Welcome to the madness and dubious content I refer to as my blog.
Sometimes I am lucky and actually get to post art.....but I tell folks not to hold their breath on that one!
I think Melvins adventures will have to wait until I get the current commission off the plate! ;)

WOW! WWhat a fabulous blog you have going here, Ann!

I am coming by to see if you know what has happened to Tristan Robin Blakeman....he has not posted in MONTHS and I am worried a bit...I know that you frequented his blog and I just wondered if you had any idea what he is up to; I miss him so much as I am sure everyone of his follows has!

Your work is excellent! Anita

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hi Anita!

THanks for coming by, and the kind words.
Tridtan is on FaceBook, if you want to search him out there--the last I spoke with him he was knee deep in projects. After the shingles, he was *behind*. He cranked out eight quilts, had a whole collection of CDs he decided to put on eBAy, individually I believe... :O .....and I know he had a couple of classes lined up for Fall PLUS was working with the theater on either one or two plays.
I am not sure he ever sleeps. It wore me out reading!
I too miss him, both his blog and the comments! He is amazing!
