Just Peeking In.......And Thanks!

I'm keeping my distance and my germs to myself. Seems the Fall Bug has landed at Chateau Lockard and you can guess which one of us is the cat in the bag.......(and it's not DH)
I'll return when I can breathe, think, and be acerbic and amusing.
Or at least when I can breathe.....

Oh Pfffft!!!

Oct 4th: I am now beginning to sound like Darth Vader with asthma, trying to make an obscene phone call.....rather amusing. The aches are subsiding some.
Thank you for all the *medical* suggestions; any one of them sounds fairly appealing at this point! hee hee! Naturally, I am sans the proper *spirits* to whip up the cure........
Miss you all!!!

Lordy woman, what how?? Just got back from the Windy City and I'm feelin' the time pinch...gots to get my arse in gear and do the studio thing. Daughter is having surgery the 19th and wants her "mommy" there to care for the grands and her, now I have less time...ay caramba!!

Take care of yourself, and that reminds me, have to run up to Walgreens for my flu shot...oey vey. Hang in there, my amiga, and drink lots of Vit C, spiked with lots of vodka...you may not get over it soon, but you won't care!! LOL

Love ya,
G

NOOOOOOOOoooooooo flu! You need an antivirus! Feel better soon. Georgia is onto something, but my grandfather from Poland used to give my mom a shot of whiskey for the flu and she was a CHILD! **blows kisses filled with antibiotics** Deb

Ugh. Bugs are such bugs, aren't they? Well, they have comfortably extended their unwelcome stay here in our household too! I hope you feel better, 'gracious'! Heheh. :))

Hi Anne! I was looking at Deb's comment, and my mom used to give us a little bourbon, honey and lemon when we had a sore throat. Now you can have that if you do, or if you don't! lol!!! Feel better! xoxo Pam

Just back from my long weekend...sorry to hear you're down for the count again :(

I know my time is coming, but do you know I haven't had a cold in over 10 years? Or the flu in 16 years.

I think it's all that cheap wine I drink! :P

Actually, I take a lot of vitamins and I guess they must be doing something.

Feel better soon!!

Dear Anne.... I totally sympathise....cos I seem to have the same thing! Back East for a few days - and my throat began to hurt.... by the time I flew home, I couldn't say anything audible!

Last night, made tea with honey and lemon.... today, my throat is not as sore...and while I sound like "The Excorcist"....I can talk!

Keep up the tea, lemon and honey and lots of rest!!!! Feel better soon!

Hugs,

♥ Robin ♥

How is the patient?

I have come to make rounds, although you are in the isolation ward right now.

Anne, hope you feel better. Drink plenty of fluids.

You know what I wish? That when I get sick, a sister came to pamper me like we did one another when we were growing up.

Get well soon, dearie!

Tsup!!! (sterilized kiss)
