Beautiful lily - can't grow them very well here - the earwigs gobble them as fast as they poke their little heads through the ground. So sorry you have one of those awful heads again.
I think we're in for a weather change here; was humid and miserable and I forgot my allergy meds this morning...DUH.....
My real surprise with the lilies was last year there were BUNCHES and this year TWO, Soooooooo, I am thinking that D*^!%d chpmunk had a nice lily bulb lunch sometime during the winter.....
Or it could be the heat.
But I'd rather blame the chipmunk! LOL!!
