More Mischief, or, Is This *MY* Studio Anymore???

Well, I must admit I am scratching my head this morning as I post this to the blog. I come into the studio and find someone has made themselves right at home........a vintage pillowcase, a featherbed, and one of my BEST hand sewn miniature quilts. So I figure, okay, someone needs some shut eye.......I've been there.
I'll just work on my computer instead.

And then I find this little surprise.....computer booted up and a request (order?) for me.....

Well, all I can say is things are going to be interesting.....I wonder if I am allowed to use my studio???
Maybe if I am very quiet and only have a few lights on.
Hmmmmmm.........what do you think?

Good Morning Anne Sweetie...
Let's hope this little Milo person doesn't have a bug. I mean after all he is sleeping under the covers, and you just got over that this past weekend. Are you sure it's okay to leave him sleeping? Did you peek under the covers even the slightest little bit?

Well I hope you are well. Keep an eye on those covers while you are working in the studio.

Anxiously awaiting to meet Sleepyhead. Have a great day sweet friend. Maybe Mr. Milo will have some ideas about the chipmunk issue.

Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

Hey Sherry,

I am holding my breath on what the little bug is going to be into. I have a feeling that life is going to get beyond interesting here.....I just hope he doesn't discover the John Deere in the garage! (maybe I should hide the keys....)

Your little quilt is beautiful, so nice for Milo to nap with. Will be back for the intro.

I can't remember how long ago I made that---I know my hands would not do it now! It was all hand pieced and appliqued, except I think that I ised the machine for the binding....and the little sashing....
A world away! LOL! My brain doesn't go that far back anymore!

Well you know what they say about house guests and fish!!! Looks like Milo's going to stink up the place!!!!!!! LOL

Glad you're going back into your happy place and if Milo objects, just give him some ear plugs. Will be in Phoenix this weekend to visit my sis. I know, I complain about the heat here and what am I doing, going to a greater Hell Hole, but at least da folks there have refrigerated air conditioning.

Love ya,
G

Hey Georgina!

I think Milo will be just fine....I am not sure what State I will be in, but he seems to be storing up *energy*.......
I better drink a LOT of coffee!
HAve fun in Phoenix!

What a cute little quilt! That's an interesting screen on your computer. So what do you DO in your studio that is so noisy?

Am anxiously awaiting to see where this goes!!
Have a Great Week!

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hey Karen,

ALWAYS MUSIC!!!! And then various forms of noise---a lot of pecking at the keyboard, sewing machine, cussing when things don't go right, moving furniture, piles of junk, etc etc etc. It is seldom QUIET.
My screen has a picture of the Misfits on it....big muscles and a killer bass; keeps me happy! :D

And so it begins......the adventures of Milo and Anne. Bold little guy using your best linens and telling you to be quiet!!! This is going to be good. I don't dare miss a day of your posts while Milo is visiting!!
Make noise, Anne, and see what happens! HAHAHA
BTW, great quilt!!
Stay calm!

Oh Audrey,

I think I am going to let him sleep off a little energy first; you know how kids are when they are tired and full of sugar....he was well fed on the way.
Maybe I better call the Doc for some nerve tonic....for ME! ;)

I love the quilt! Don't let Milo eat Hershey Kisses in bed. It never turns out well. ;) xox!! Pam

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hey Pam!

I'm thinking I need a baby monitor and a video cam.....just to see what he is up to when I am not around, because it is obvious he can function without a lot of help!
That long trip has brought out some confidence in him, for sure!

I am breathless with anticipation--oops--better contain myself or I will pass out by next week!!

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

I hear you Janet!

I'm about ready to pass out myself...trying to be quiet so that *SOMEONE* can get his beauty sleep.
I hope he didn't get on any bad sites while using the computer....

That little Milo gets around!!

Oh no, we are in for trouble now. The two of your together should be quite interesting.
You will have to have cocktails every night to keep him in control.
Just drink less than the little guy does so you can monitor the antics.
Wait till he passes out and then you can get your work done.
Good Luck!!!

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hey Lolo,

I am thinking Milo is a pretty independent guy; I may have my hands more than FULL.....but I have to type quietly so he can get rested up..... ;D

Hey Marie!

I'm beginning to wonder if he has had too much stimulation on his journeys and needs to get calmed down a little bit.....hmmmmmm.....and there is a huge cornfield beside my yard.
A bug could get LOST in there!

HAAAaaaahahahahaaa! Poor Milo was probably traumatized by being lost in the warehouse ... maybe he is having flashbacks of his almost ten years spent in my closet in fear of the new millennium. I still need to try to find his parents. I think they are in the attic. I've had a poopy migraine day. Hoping yours is better. LOVE LOVE LOVE your mini quilt! Your screensaver is pretty easy on the eyes too! **weak little kisses** Deb
