Monday, Monday......and Welcomes too!

A quick *Good Morning* before I hop off to finishing errands undone over the weekend, and putting the header hanging sleeves on the banners and then saying THEY ARE DONE!!!! (can you detect excitement here????)
I have had a lot of great comments here in the few days I took off; some my regular faces popping in, some new voices and new followers and I say WELCOME! I am sorry I am in the midst of this work-a-thon and cannot entertain you properly, but I am sure some of the previous comments would, should you choose to read.
I normally don't go MIA for a while, but it did yield some time for thought, creatively and also related to work and life.......so all in all, it was good.
Spring is still being a tease here. Mostly cold rain now that we are receiving and while there are leaves of things bulbous that will eventually bloom, nothing yet. I am far beyond impatient. My lone crocus appears to have become chipmunk food.......which does NOT make me happy! Mr. Chippy needs to go find another home, NOW.
Thankfully, the lilacs, magnolias and wisteria have not begun to bud out. Usually they do far too early and then are treated to the freezing wrath of the Last Indiana Cold Spell, thus ruining any hope of bloom.
And now I am off to the tables, to finish this daunting project. Yes, there will be photos.
I am thinking I should have done a *Before* and *After* photo of myself, as it would have been amusing to see the decline mentally and physically. I am at raving lunatic point at the moment! SNARF!!! "I have only one mind to lose......."

Hope y'all have a good week with lots of fun projects ahead.....that Spring gently arrives to your neighborhood and brings with it the delight of blossoms and sun.
I'll be back with the pith and humor you are accustomed to soon...
For now, I bid you.....

Pax.

Glad you got things done. Looking forward to seeing the banners finished. Take care of yourself while you are running around being manic. LOL

Who ME???? MANIC????
LOL!
That pretty well describes it.....sadly, the trip is due to purchases made that don't work, so I have to make another trip for refunding.....
And I will be careful!
Have a good week---less manic than mine. ;)

Hey Audrey,

I need copious quantities of seren and calming!
I had a few other pics from that shoot; my batteries were going in the camera and I was getting all these odd shots. Really neat, but less focus and more intense color.
It was interesting to see them together....
Off to finish the JOB!!!

Oh, Anne! You are almost done? I am SO happy for you. :) That and Spring is coming! I am deliriously happy for you! Just be careful dancing in the mud. Oh, and I am not responsible for the broken camera at Deb's photo shoot. I warned her about my left 'side'. hee hee! xoxo

Hey Pam,

We have had more laughs at the expense of that innocent turtle!!! I told her she needed a wide-angle for mine......
Yes; I am moving *stuff* to get the machine, boards etc so that I can sew the tops and support all the weight! (of the banners....LOL!)
YAY!!!!

As late as I am getting on here you may be totally finished with the banners by now if all you had to do was put hanging sleeves on them. How wonderful it will be to have them out of your studio and check in hand! You sure do get some beautiful sunrise shots. Yesterday I stepped out my studio door and there was a huge rainbow across the sky. Of course the camera was up in the house so I ran up, grabbed it, ran back down to the studio and turned it on only to be greeted by the "replace the batteries" notice. So my grand rainbow shot wasn't so grand, it was nearly gone by the time I got the camera going. Oh well.

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hey JAn,

I'm still moved *stuff* and getting the machine reset and rethreaded for the heavy weight, so I'm CLOSE!!!
I have all three cameras showing me the semi-dead battery warning. Am not impressed with how quick the Canon goes through them.....not even sure what the Lomo takes and te Fuji, my faithful always eats AAs.
Can't use rechargables in any of them if I recall correctly.
I gues I'll be buying batteries with my pay??? LOL!!

Anne.....who knows that some ainbows are meant to be held only in the memory and never in a camera......

I am living proof of that too!!
I think age ages ya.
Happy Monday Anne.
I can hardly wait for the entertainment to begin!

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Hey Marie....

It ALL ages ya!!!! LOL!!!
I'm voting for laugh lines over stress lines.....HAHAHAHA!
HAve a good one---trying to get the last one lined up to stitch a semi-straight seam..... ;)

Your total honesty still amuses me...we all need to get our work done and time is of most importance. Remember to breathe...my daffodils are blooming but the rain is beating them down at this moment. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen

Beautiful photo of the sunrise...:o)

Hi M.A.!

Yes, we used to have woods along the fence rows that pretty much covered the power lines but in the infinite wisdom of the dolts in this area, they cut and burned everything.
I think there are some very underendowed men that enjoy doing that......the trees used to be beautiful against the rising sun....

Anne Huskey-Lockard said...

Ah, Mary-Helen......I would have been out picking the daffodils, bringing them in to avoid the rain! I'm such a KID!
My honesty for the day today, at this unholy hour of the morning:
I am so DAMNED GLAD that I have this project done, in the car and ready to hit the road.
I am doing nothing today, though I did start studio breakdown yesterday and some cleaning, to try and finish the mess I started.
Mostly, I am thinking Hello Couch!!! LOL!!!
