Some things speak for themselves......

........just give me a big honking dose; DH now has exactly what I had/still have and Anne is not quite sure how much more of this sick room status she can take and muster a calm demeanor. I'm exhausted from simple tasks, am impatient to just SIT and KNIT, and absolutely have to find the strength to grocery shop or it's going to get reeeeeeeeally interesting in the eating department around here.
I so hoped that maybe Hubby could avoid this, but when he came downstairs yesterday and said, "How did you feel when you first started getting sick?" I thought someone had smacked me with a 2 x 4. So I put him on meds immediately and now in my moments of being up, am trying to cook so we can have something without trying to stand through a whole meal prep.
HE thinks he will be going to work all week. I am thinking otherwise. This should get interesting....any bets on who is right? ;-)
At any rate, I see no studio time in the crystal ball of my life, but I do see a lot of kleenex, jello, soup and dirty dishes.
I think it's time to take the sledgehammer to the crystal ball.
Or me.
And definitely, to the BUG.
Have a good one...make something...have fun...
I keep trying to tell myself this is all a bad dream, and I'll wake up working in the studio with the banners done. But that appears to be just plain mental illness. Again, maybe a dose of the above pictured chemical would help realistic thinking.......
Pax.

Exciting life? Well, I'd say it went straight down the tubes!!!! LOL!!! I feel better today, though still tired and that is the big, honking pink horse-pill-antibiotic, but it's getting me better.
Today I get to fight with the fabric people, so things MIGHT get exciting again! :) I'm calling the CC people first, then the fabric people.
If you see a blue mushroom cloud coming up sort of in the direction of Indiana, no fear---it's just me on the phone expounding my displeasure!
And the second pair of socks are coming along fine, which is important as without the knitting, I think I'd just lose it and start running naked down the road. And that's not pretty at almost 50. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

ROFLMAO!!!!!!! Yeah, yeah....it's just the sickness part that is difficult!
Hey I'm doing the fern clog socks---except toe up with the pattern on top. We'll see how they look--I know you did yours the *right* way! I hope this works.....I kinda like the yarn. May take the pattern up the back too if I can concentrate that long...... ;)

Pam,
No, my husband is probably worse than yours....hint hint....and I'm in the studio and he's in bed. There is DISTANCE. ;)
I really need groceries, so I might get to escape for a few today if I can manage.
And believe me, I think I can manage...nuff said! I'm going nuts being stuck in here!
No art here either unless I retreat to the wet studio and stare at things, trying to psychically WILL them to do something.

Good Grief.... I would rather be sick twice than have Hubs sick once!!
Get well soon!!

Well, with this one, I'm not sure I could go through it again! DH said, as he barely got out of bed for meds, "I've never felt this bad....."
Me either Dear.
I'm on the mend---taking it easy. Just want to get back to studio work---mentally ready, if not physically!

By the grace of God i've not caught the extreme of this sickness. Probably because my doctor thought the better of it and started me immediately on my antibiotics when hubs got so sick. He is over the hump i'm happy to announce though is still coughing and now and again you can hear the effects of this nasty bug in his lungs. He declares he is feeling better as well.

Keep resting, drinks lots of water and tea and take soothing showers. Then get back on your feet and into your study. :)

Hugs.

Thanks Tammy.
I am feeling better but am worried about DH; he is miserable, (and he never gets sick)the stage which I had for about 24 hrs. If his does not improve, will be calling the Dr. tomorrow.......

I feel like I need to go wash my hands after typing to you - germs, you know.
take care
isn't there a store in Peru that delivers or a church friend that would drop off a few supplies (and them run like hell).
take care

Yes, get the alcohol gel!
And no, no delivery......at least none I'm aware of. I ended up cooking and a few groceries; wore me out but feeling better.
Love that last part in parenthesis!!!!
